Biography
Charles Henry Craver was born in Eldon, Missouri and attended the School of Fine Arts at Washington University in
St. Louis, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1933. After an early career as a freelance illustrator, he
was employed for over 50 years as a staff artist for the Missouri Department of Health in Jefferson City.
