DELAWARE

10 For 2014/2015, the fringe benefit rate was 35.8% for professional staff (exempt employees),
64.9% for support staff (non-exempt employees), and 7.5% for graduate assistants. The
University of Delaware offers an excellent package of benefits, part of which includes
comprehensive health care coverage and educational benefits. The University of Delaware also
makes a generous contribution to a 403b retirement plan for exempt employees and to the state
pension plan for non-exempt staff. Detailed information about the benefits program can be
