Staff Category Amount of Time Spent Cataloging
The UCLA Library Cataloging and Metadata Center consists
of 15 FTE librarians and 29 FTE staff. Copy cataloging for
e-resources is done by staff ranked at Library Assistant III and
above original cataloging for e-resources is done by staff
ranked at a Library Assistant V or above (Librarian).

This work is done by two Cataloging and Metadata Services
Librarians (professionals) and one Cataloging and Metadata
Services Specialist II (senior support staff).

paraprofessionals in the AUL Cataloging Department create
