Research Library Issues

Research Library Issues: A Report from ARL, CNI, and SPARC (RLI) is a freely available, online-only publication released at least four times per year by the Association of Research Libraries.

With issue no. 262 (February 2009), the name of this publication changed from ARL: A Bimonthly Report on Research Library Issues and Actions from ARL, CNI, and SPARC to Research Library Issues: A Bimonthly Report from ARL, CNI, and SPARC. Back issues of ARL: A Bimonthly Report are available on the ARL website.

With issue no. 275 (June 2011), the frequency of publication of Research Library Issues changed from bimonthly to quarterly and the subtitle changed to reflect that. With issue no. 282 (2013), the frequency of publication of RLI became unspecified and the subtitle changed accordingly, so the full title is now Research Library Issues: A Report from ARL, CNI, and SPARC.

This publication has been included in the EBSCO serial databases (formerly H.W. Wilson databases) since June 2000.
