Reproduction Use Policy
Reproductions are made available for research, teaching and private study. Permission to reproduce materials
in for-profit or not-for-profit publications or to use reproductions for any commercial purpose must be obtained
in writing. Reproductions are made available for one-time use for the purpose stated in this agreement.
Reproductions may not be further copied or made available to another researcher without prior permission.
Each researcher must assume full responsibility for any legal questions that may arise as a result of use of the
reproductions. A free copy of all publications is to be presented to the Library as soon as the work is published.
Credit shall be given to Archives &Special Collections at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, University of
Connecticut Libraries.
Warning Concerning Copyright Restrictions
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions
of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a
photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for
any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or
reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the
right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgement, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
